Thousands of shoes mysteriously dumped on the Palmetto Expressway last week will be given to the people of Haiti. The shoes from Friday’s incident were swept up and placed in a field near Bird Road. The Nashville based charity Soles4Souls plans to collect the shoes and distribute them in Haiti.
